Abstract
L’articolo rappresenta uno dei contributi degli Atti del Convegno di Studi e Aggiornamento dal titolo Castelnuovo di Corbanese storia e indagini archeologiche, che si è tenuto a Vittorio Veneto il 10 giugno 2022, a cura del Circolo Vittoriese di Ricerche Storiche. In questo saggio, Elisa Possenti e Martina Andreoli offrono una panoramica del fortilizio basata su prospezioni e misurazioni: mura, porta protetta da due semitorri, mastio e altre strutture interne, con indicazioni di un possibile belfredo o comunque un punto di vedetta sito a valle, su un cocuzzolo ad Ovest, giusto sopra il corso del torrente Cervano.
This article is one of the contributions to the Convegno di Studi e Aggiornamento titled History and Archaeological Investigations of Castelnuovo di Corbanese, and which was held in Vittorio Veneto on 10 June 2022, curated by the Circolo Vittoriese di Ricerche Storiche. In this essay, Elisa Possenti and Martina Andreoli provide an overview of the fortress, based on surveys and measurements of its walls, a door enclosed by two semi-towers, a look-out tower and other internal structures, with suggestions of a possible Belfredo tower, or in any case a lookout point located downstream, on a cochineal to the west, just above the course of the Cervano stream.
